I’m Jimmy Dunn, and I’ve spent my entire career inside State Farm, learning the business from every angle so I could bring that depth of knowledge directly to you.

I joined State Farm in 1996 as a Claims Adjuster, spending seven years on the ground evaluating losses and working with policyholders through some of their most difficult moments. That firsthand claims experience shapes the way I talk to customers about coverage to this day, because I’ve seen what happens when the right protection is in place, and when it isn’t.

In 2003, I became a State Farm agent in Aiken, SC. Four years later, State Farm asked me to help develop the next generation of agents as a Developmental Agency Field Leader, recruiting, training, and building new agencies across the region. In 2009, I moved into an Agency Field Leader role in Charleston, supporting established agents and growing the market. By 2011, I was working at the Zone Executive level alongside State Farm’s Senior Vice President and Agency Vice President as the Zone Agency Administration Assistant. In 2013, I was named Agency Territory Leader of the Charleston Territory, overseeing growth across one of State Farm’s most active markets. In 2019, I came home to do what I love most, serving customers directly and opened my agency right here in Goose Creek.

I hold an AIC designation from the Insurance Institute of America, reflecting advanced training in risk management and claims. Our agency has earned State Farm’s Honor Club, SVP Club, and Ambassador Club awards, and our Google rating speaks for itself: 400+ five-star reviews from customers across the Lowcountry.
